Saturday, music, and bacon!

Just a quick update :)

New items on sale! My favorite book studies! Great for small groups!

I'm visiting family in AZ. OMG!! It's hot!

In school related stuff...I've been thinking a lot about how to add music into my daily schedule. I found a place for it, but now what to do?

We don't do a music special at my school :( {I hadmusic in elementary school and stuck with it through college!!! Yep, my second degree is a BA in Music. I still have my clarinet :)}

I want to make sure my students are getting music too! Not just phonics songs, or the days of the week sung to the Addams Family theme song... Know what I mean?

Hmm... How to balance it all this year is going to be difficult. And convincing my team/p-pal that 30 min of music each week is just as essential as the 600 min of language arts and 400 min of math...

Any of you do music instruction during your day? Like specific beat, tempo, rhythm?

Anyway... Don't you love when thoughts roll through your head randomly ;)

Im crazy... Must be the heat ;) I'm off to enjoy some delicious AZ bacon at Oink Cafe! Love bacon!

1) I'm off to see the family! Super excited about this!! Heading to AZ first and then to So. Cal. 

2) This dang scavenger hunt... Still working on it! I'll bet I can get a bunch done at Disneyland next week.

3) Disneyland!!!! Need I say more?! I LOVE that place!

4) Spend much? I mean seriously, the Christmas in July sale!?! This e-card explains it all, if I could only add TPT to it! Lol

5) Injured but not broken. I took a nasty fall running yesterday. But kept on running. Boom!

All About Math! ... New Day, New Sale

Hi Everyone!

I am gearing up for a HUGE change in math this year!

We are implementing Number Talks{from Math Solutions}district wide and I am going to do math workshop instead of my usual math routine! I am SO excited and a little afraid at the same time!... This is very new and well, we will see how it goes. I will have more on my future math workshop soon.I can't wait to share!

Onto the sale...For the next two days, I will be celebrating Christmas in July with a sale on my math items, including my newest pack of Math Strategies.
